In 2001 launches Libéma Profcycling BV some projects in cycling. The Shimano Neutral Service Team was one of those projects that, in addition to event organization, sponsor support and relationship marketing activities, is developed by Libéma Profcycling.
The Neutral Service Team has since 2001, to the satisfaction of the riders and organizers, lots of races supported. So we provide annual service to include Omloop het Nieuwsblad, the Tour of Flanders, the Amstel Gold Race, Rund um den Henninger Turm, 4 Jours de Dunkerque, the Eneco Benelux Tour, the road races of the World Championships (Lisbon, Zolder, Hamilton, Madrid, Salzburg, Stuttgart and Varese), and in the Olympic road races in Athens and Beijing, we did the neutral service.
The Shimano Neutral Service Team of the cycling races provides the Service with its neutral SKODA cars and Suzuki motorcycles. The neutral vehicles are equipped with bicycles and Shimano wheels – components which we all riders can help.
Most top teams in de course are riding with Shimano components, but also riders who ride with Campagnolo, we can help, because the Shimano products can be adapted on Campagnolo. The Neutral Service Team consists of professionals: each car is staffed by a very experienced driver and skilled mechanic. With our team we can ensure that we provide optimal assistance in the minimum time for all the cycling teams in the race.
In addition to drivers and teams are also the organizers benefit from a neutral professional working team. The safety in the contest is promoted: team leaders have less riders to pass and the experience of our team neutralizes the dangerous moments in the race, which again is important for a favorable jury
